Our client, a renowned University in New Jersey, is looking for a freelance Social and Content Coordinator to help support their Office of Innovation with editorial tasks, website and social updates over the next 2 months.
This is a hybrid position, ideally onsite in Princeton, NJ, 3 days per week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. This is estimated at an average of 20 hours per week. This coverage is needed for the next 2 months.

The Social And Content Coordinator Will Be
- Performing light-duty updates to websites, ensuring content is accurate and up-to-date
- Entering events on calendars and post stories to websites
- Monitoring and post on social media platforms, including X and LinkedIn
- Writing engaging and informative newsletter blurbs
- Create and schedule social media posts
- Collaborating with the marketing team to develop content strategies and campaigns
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
- 2 years of experience in social media management and content creation
- Experience with website management and updating content
- Proficient in social media platforms such as X and LinkedIn
- Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with Drupal web publishing would be nice to have, WordPress or similar web platform experience
- Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
