Must Haves
- Must have B2C experience and mobile experience, with a proven track record of owning mobile platforms.
- Must have been a people leader with experience in financial and/or credit services, preferably with large enterprise institutions.
- Location: This role is hybrid. The candidate should be located within a commutable distance to one of the offices in NYC, Baltimore MD, Charlotte NC, Wilmington DE, or Irving, TX.
- Own the Personal Loan segment, focusing on reducing calls and enhancing digital engagement across mobile web, desktop web, and mobile app platforms. - Partner with internal teams that have components in the app, such as Payments, to coordinate efforts and ensure seamless integration.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to define and execute a digital cross-sell acquisition strategy.
- Create a strategic product vision for an integrated, omni-channel solution that drives improved product and customer experience.
- Work closely with cross-functional leaders in Engineering, Design, Operations, and Marketing to ensure alignment, prioritization, and execution across launches.
- Utilize data to inform all aspects of the product and development process, balancing this with product intuition and deep customer knowledge.
- Communicate status updates, strategic risks, key dependencies, progress against objectives, and wins to team members and senior leadership.
- Develop and evolve a high-performing team of product managers, constantly striving to redefine how product management adds value for customers and the company.
- Evangelize the value of the product, socializing and influencing stakeholders to get on board with strategic initiatives.
- Minimum 10 years of experience working on successful digital consumer products, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
- Experience working within financial services organizations.
- Proven track record of delivering amazing customer experiences and results at scale.
- Self-starter who identifies opportunities and brings solutions to the table, amplifying the entire cross-functional team.
- Experience creating a product vision and strategy and aligning it across cross-functional teams and the broader organization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to socialize information, motivate team members, and sell ideas to achieve team objectives.
- Customer obsession and a drive to deliver constant value while balancing the needs of the business.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex, analytical problems and carry the solution through to the end.
- Extensive hands-on experience working across the digital product development process: road mapping, problem definition, exploration, requirements documentation, front and back-end development, testing, and code deployment.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for the domain and an understanding of how it fits into the larger, overall product.
- Positive outlook and flexible mindset that works well in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
- Passion for developing product managers and the craft of product management to create and elevate a high-performing team.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
