Federal Technical Writer
We are seeking a highly skilled Federal Technical Writer to join our agency's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing clear and concise technical documentation for federal projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and specific agency requirements. This position requires a strong understanding of RFP/RFI processes and the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
This will be a fully remote contract role up to 40 hours a week starting in June, 2025. The project will be on going, but start around 2 months in duration. The person for this position must have previously had, currently have, or be eligible for TSI/SC clearances.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for federal projects including reports, manuals, and proposals.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and understand project requirements.
- Ensure all documentation adheres to federal guidelines and organizational standards.
- Review and edit documents for clarity, grammar, and compliance issues.
- Assist in the preparation of RFPs and RFIs, ensuring all technical specifications are accurately represented.
- Maintain version control and documentation management systems.
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a federal or government contracting environment.
- Active/recent/past eligible TSI/SC clearance.
- Demonstrated knowledge of RFP/RFI processes and requirements.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with documentation tools and software.
