Our client, a dynamic marketing agency specializing in high-quality, user-friendly WordPress websites, is looking to hire a full-time Full Stack Developer! Their team is passionate about delivering results-driven, beautifully designed websites that enhance their clients' online presence and business growth. This Full Stack Developer will lead their web development team and drive the success of our WordPress projects.
This is a full-time opportunity, 40 hours per week. They have a hybrid working model, and candidate should be able to commute to their office in Allentown, PA, a few times per month.
The Full Stack Developer will oversee front-end and back-end development of WordPress websites, lead a small team, and ensure ongoing maintenance and support of existing sites. This role requires strong technical expertise in WordPress development, database management, SSL installation, and DNS settings. Leadership responsibilities include managing a junior developer, handling critical site updates, performing security checks, and ensuring optimal performance across all maintained websites.

Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a junior web developer.
- Lead front-end and back-end development of WordPress websites.
- Oversee maintenance of client websites, including updates, backups, security audits, and content edits.
- Manage SSL certificates and DNS settings.
- Set up and manage MySQL databases.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other team members.
- Develop and improve internal processes for efficient project delivery and site maintenance.
- Communicate with clients to resolve technical issues and offer solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in web development and WordPress.
- 5 years of experience in front-end and back-end web development, with a focus on WordPress.
- 1-2 years of leadership or managerial experience.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
- Knowledge of SSL certificates, DNS settings, and MySQL databases.
- Familiarity with security best practices for WordPress.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Bonus: Experience with front-end frameworks, WooCommerce, and website performance tools.
