Our multinational news client is seeking a Graphic Designer for a 6-month, hybrid role in NYC (3 days onsite, 2 days work from home, 40 hrs/week).
Position Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer I to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually engaging designs that align with our brand's goals. This role requires a blend of graphic design skills and front-end development knowledge to deliver compelling content across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute design concepts for various projects.
- Create visually appealing graphics for digital and print media, including social media, newsletters, and advertisements.
- Assist in the development of front-end design elements for web applications and websites.
- Utilize illustration and visual storytelling techniques to enhance content and engage audiences.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute innovative ideas for branding and marketing initiatives.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and project specifications.
- Engage in self-initiated projects to explore new design techniques and trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.
- Editorial design experience from a major news outlet
- Proven experience in graphic design, with a solid portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Familiarity with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript a plus.
- Strong conceptual and strategic thinking skills.
