Localization Project Manager - Digital Content
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Localization Project Manager to lead and oversee the localization process of digital content for our Australian market. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills and a deep understanding of linguistic quality assurance to ensure content meets high standards of accuracy and cultural relevance. This is a 12-month, 40 hours per week contract role.

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Manage localization projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including content creators, designers, and developers to gather requirements and set project objectives.
- Oversee vendor management, including selection, negotiation, and performance evaluation of translation and localization vendors.
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure linguistic accuracy and cultural appropriateness of localized content.
- Utilize content management systems to track project progress and maintain up-to-date project documentation.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Apply Agile methodologies to enhance project efficiency and adaptability to changing requirements.
- Monitor project budgets and report on financial metrics to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Project Management, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in localization project management or a similar role.
- Proven experience in managing translation projects and working with localization vendors.
- Strong understanding of linguistic quality assurance and software localization processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with effective time management skills.
- Familiarity with content management systems and agile project management tools.
