Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to overall strategy and decision-making about product direction in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Help craft and refine clear, impactful storytelling around product needs and opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, design, and research peers to bring ideas to life.
- Create, iterate, and prototype delightful, intuitive user experiences that make learning fun and engaging.
- Design and ship high-quality product improvements that directly impact our users and product growth.
- Report directly to Head of Design, receiving mentorship and guidance.
- Be a key voice in shaping the future of education technology.
- 3 years of experience designing UX and UI for digital products.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, exploring concepts from start to finish.
- A strong portfolio showcasing well-crafted visual and interaction design, with an eye for detail.
- Experience designing simple solutions to complex user problems.
- A passion for crafting intuitive, user-friendly, and delightful experiences.
- Comfort working in an ambiguous, dynamic environment and turning ideas into clear, impactful designs.
- Proficiency in prototyping with Figma, creating interactive and engaging experiences.
- Experience setting up and maintaining a small Design System, ensuring consistency and scalability.
- Experience shipping high-quality products in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Familiarity with user testing, experimentation, and data-driven design decisions.
- A knack for solving ambiguous problems with creative, practical solutions.
- A growth mindset and excitement for learning new skills as we build something big together.
- Understanding of gamification and entertainment in product design, and how they can make learning more engaging and enjoyable.
