Production / Packaging Designer Position Overview The Production / Packaging Designer will be responsible for creating innovative packaging solutions that align with brand identity and product requirements. This role aims to ensure that all designs are functional, cost-effective, and ready for production, while also maintaining quality and aesthetic appeal. This is a fully remote opportunity and will work on an ad hoc / as needed basis. Key Responsibilities Develop and design packaging concepts and prototypes that meet product specifications. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align packaging designs with brand strategies. Create detailed mechanical buildout specifications for production. Review and approve samples from printers and manufacturers to ensure quality standards are met. Stay updated on industry trends and technologies in packaging design and production. Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to create and modify packaging designs. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines. Qualifications Proven experience in production design and packaging design. Strong understanding of mechanical buildout processes. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat). Familiarity with printing processes and materials used in packaging. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage several projects at once. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
