Proposal Manager / Editor (Government Solicitations)

Our global commercial real estate client is looking for a REMOTE, freelance Proposal Manager / Editor to start possibly next month on a project-by-project basis. The Proposal Manager / Editor will help manage a potential influx of federal government solicitations with some possible editing to ensure information is accurate and well presented.

Proposal Manager / Editor Responsibilities

• Manage, coordinate, communicate with and organize bid teams and content for solicitations, including developing and managing timelines based on solicitation deadlines
• Work directly with brokers in markets and disciplines that align with each solicitation to gather information needed for solicitations (bios, property information, market information, data, pricing, org charts, etc.)
• Collaborate with client's central business development to gather boilerplate content, train on process
• Edit where needed to ensure grammar, accuracy, flow, character limits, etc.
• Submit solicitation responses via possible various modes: Word > PDF via email, fill-in field responses within portal, etc.
• Use writing and editing experience to ensure consistency of voice across bid responses
• Utilize boilerplate information where possible
  
  

Proposal Manager / Editor Requirements

• Strong government bid / public sector bid experience, especially federal government experience
• Experience working on multiple proposals simultaneously
• Professional, proactive communicator; comfortable with speaking with high-producing sales teams
• Experience and comfortable with quick deadlines and fast-paced environment
