Our client in Gaithersburg, MD is looking for a Senior Marketing Specialist to join their team on a 3 month maternity leave contract. The position is 37.5 hours a week and onsite on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience developing integrated marketing campaigns. You will have experience working on acquisition or retention marketing campaigns ideally for a membership based organization.

Duties Of The Senior Marketing Specialist
- Work closely with partner organizations to understand target audience
- Develop campaigns including writing copy, deploying emails, write social media posts, etc to engage target audience and prompt product offerings
- Set KPIs for campaigns and measure campaigns against KPIs, provide recommendations to improve engagements and drive sales
- Review marketing spend and provide recommendations to increase ROI
- Work with external vendors and internal teams to execute campaigns and achieve campaign metrics
- Edit content for newsletters, emails, social media, etc to reach targeted audience and build awareness around product offerings
- Produce reports detailing the campaign results
- Monitor industry news to identify opportunities to increase audience engagement and market share
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing
- A minimum of 5 years of integrated marketing experience
- Experience interfacing directly with partner organizations or clients
- Experience writing marketing campaign collateral for email, social media, direct mail
- Experience executing traditional and digital marketing campaigns i.e. direct mail, email, social media, paid media, etc
- Experience creating content marketing to build product awareness and drive engagement
- Experience interfacing directly with clients or partner organizations
