Senior Visual Merchandising Manager / Designer- Sketchup Job at Creative Circle

Our well-known beauty client is seeking a Senior Visual Merchandising Manager / Designer.This is a 40hr / week, hybrid assignment that will require going into a NYC office 3 days a week (Tues - Thurs). This could turn into a full time opportunity for the right candidate. A MAC will be provided.Senior Visual Merchandising Manager / Designer Responsibilities : - Apply and adapt global Visual Merchandising concept guidelines to the US market- Liaise with the Central Visual Merchandising Design team and Marketing Team coordinating both internal and external project validation- Build and maintain retailer relationships for approvals on new merchandising elements and events- Develop and present merchandising guidelines for new launches, including hosting webinars for internal teams and retailers- Design and manage event execution for all retailers- Create 3D renderings and design development drawings for vendor bidding- Review mechanical / engineering drawings and pre-production prototypes to ensure alignment with design intent- Create all print ready mechanicals related to production of various printed materials- Create 3D planograms to support retail display strategies- Work closely with the store design team on new store openings and lead in-store merchandising effortsMust Haves : - Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Industrial Design, Graphic Design or Interior Design- 5 years of visual merchandising and / or store design experience in beauty or related industries, with a preference for experience in departments and open-sell formats- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp- Confidence and ability to manage stressful situations with clients and retailers; in addition to ideate, present, develop, and execute projects from start to finish - Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team- Liaise with all key cross-functional partners to track project milestones and ensure timely implementation- Ability to review mechanical / engineering drawings and pre-production prototypes- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and good judgment- Travel required within NYC (while freelancing) and then within US (if converted to FTE) to oversee installations and set up of new stores In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and / or proprietary information or data.
