Our B2C client in Reston, VA, is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join their team on a nine-month contract. This position is 40 hours a week and on-site three days a week (Metro accessible)
The ideal Social Media Coordinator candidate will have experience working in an in-house content studio/agency team or managing multiple social media channels for an agency. You will be comfortable collaborating with your team and key stakeholders within the organization.

Duties Of The Social Media Coordinator
- Social Media Management: Oversee daily management and publishing on the client's social media channels i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok
- Project and Campaign Management: Ensure social projects and campaigns meet milestones and deadlines
- Editorial Calendar Development: Create and maintain the social media editorial calendar
- Content Review and Quality Assurance: Ensure social creative assets and copy are complete, meet requirements, and are error-free
- Collaboration: Work with internal and external teams to align activities and provide social media best practices
- Analytics and Optimization: Review reports and analytics to improve and optimize social media content
- Engagement and Trend Monitoring: Leverage trending topics and culturally relevant conversations to drive engagement and build brand perception
- Content Repurposing: Review social media assets from other teams and user generated content and identify content to repurpose for the client
- Collaboration: Work with internal and external teams to align activities, providing social POV and best practices.
- Presentation and Sharing: Develop campaign overview decks and presentations and share social media and editorial plans with internal and external teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, Journalism
- Minimum of 3 years of marketing and social media experience
- Experience developing social media content, calendars, and strategy
- Excellent understanding of social publishing and analytics platforms, content performance, audiences, and digital trends
- Ability to create, develop, and present social media plans to teams/groups
- Experience developing social creative and graphics is a plus
- Experience with social media management tools and digital customer engagement platforms i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok
