FUNCTIONS- Client Responsibilities
- meal preparation
- medication administration
- personal cares, based on the individualized care plans
- assistance with recreational/leisure activities
- Ordering of client client medications as needed
- Responds to client emergencies
- Reviews the medication administration records, documentation, and client care before end of shift
- Responsible for providing notification of change in condition to the supervisor or on-call supervisor and in the client electronic medical record
- Monitors and evaluates all aspects of the needs of each client and ensures quality care and services are provided and documented per CCLS guidelines
- Attendance at all client-related meetings.
FUNCTIONS-Staff Responsibilities
- Schedules all direct care staff for work shifts
- Fills unexpected vacancies with direct care staff or personally, including overnight stays
- Supports on-boarding of new employees including shadowing, training, and skills demonstration. Ensures staff complete in-house training, and retrain existing staff based on clients needs
- Schedules staff meetings monthly
- Provides support in staff orientation and setting a positive example during his/her shift
Successful applicants must posses a valid driver's license, have acceptable driving record, have access to a reliable vehicle during work hours and proof of insurance.
Successful applicants also must have acceptable pre-employment drug screening results.
