Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. This role is crucial for enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring they receive the care and assistance they need in a comfortable environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of personal care, memory care, and behavior management, along with a genuine passion for helping others._ STAY BONUS $500.00 pay period following 6 month anniversary_

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide memory care support to individuals with cognitive impairments.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
• Drive clients to appointments or social outings as needed.
• Implement behavior management strategies to support clients effectively.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment within the home.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to family members or healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with family members and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior care, personal care homes, or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedures is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Patience, empathy, and a caring attitude towards clients' needs.
• Ability to follow established systems for care delivery and documentation.
• A valid driver's license is required for transportation responsibilities.
• Certification in first aid or CPR is a plus but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.50 per hour
