We are looking for an Assistant Studio Manager to assist with managing the daily operations and staff of the DIY craft studio and milkshake kitchen. The Assistant Manager will inventory the studio, teach workshops, clean up crafts, painting, and events.
The Assistant Manager will be trained in glazing pottery, and firing painted pottery pieces as well as other basic studio functions. This position will also be trained to create our gourmet milkshakes. The assistant manager is expected to then keep all studio assistants up to date and trained on studio procedures and processes.
Job Duties will include:
- Keeping the studio clean and organized.
- Keeping staff organized and informed.
- Great customer service and love for the arts and creativity.
- Preparing and managing for any upcoming events or parties.
- Answer customer questions and concerns in a timely, efficient manner.
- Teaching classes and private parties (not required but if you have an interest in instruction, we can train).
- Keeping the kiln on a schedule that finishes pottery pieces by the date promised to the customer.
- Preparing gourmet milkshakes.
- Prepping materials for crafts and workshops.
- Prepping food for milkshakes.
- Cleaning the studio and kitchen.
- Staffing duties.
Qualifications:
- This is a part-time position with weekday, evenings and weekends required.
- Self-starter
- Enjoy working in both a fast-paced and slow paced environment
- Friendly and enjoy greeting and working with customers.
- Ability to work independently

- Base Pay is $16 per hour plus tips (average hourly pay $24/hour)
