Job Description:
MUST BE LOCATE IN BALTIMORE, MD AND HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH INTER CITY URBAN YOUTH. A Substitute Keyboard instructor needed to teach students ranging from K-8th grade during the 2025-2026 school year. This position is for in-person instruction. Pay ranges from $45.00-$50.00. Classes range from 2 to 2 ½ hours per session. Also, may have multiple contracts at multiple sites. Looking forward to interviewing candidates ASAP.
Days: Monday-Friday
Times: Between 9:00am-12:00pm
The Keyboard instructor is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising classes and activities for youth. The Keyboard Instructor ensures youth development principles are incorporated into the curriculum and assignments; provides guidance to students; enforces disciplines and order resulting in a safe and positive environment for youth; teaches techniques and maintains and care for supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities:
Teachers will work on small projects such as music production tutorials, instructional videos, and performances, including but not limited to creating educational content for various keyboard skills.
-You may also be required to provide your own music equipment
-Supplemental equipment (such as keyboards or audio equipment) will be provided for instructors who don’t have access to their own instruments or gear.
-Musical works and other tasks are the responsibility of the teacher.

- Are enthusiastic and passionate about working with young children.
- Ability to commute to contracted locations.
- Curriculum development and lesson planning.
- Able to effectively collaborate with other performing arts teaching staff (when necessary)

- Mediate any conflicts that may arise between students.
- Enforce the rules and safety regulations with equipment.
- Report any notable concerns or incidents to the Program Manager

Experience:
