Job Summary:

The Logistics and Supply Chain Manager will report directly to the General Manager. The Logistics and Supply Chain Manager will direct the company’s Materials team, including Purchasing, Planning, Warehouse, and Inventory management, ensuring the optimization of logistical operations.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Hires and coordinates training for Materials staff.

Schedules, organizes, and assigns projects to members of the team.

Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.

Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.

Will ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and procedures.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.

Define and develop performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors and employee performance.

Vendor management; Develop and manage vendor relationships.

Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery.

Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.

Identify areas for improvement and implement LEAN methodologies, Six Sigma principles, and Kaizen practices.

Ensure compliance with AS9100D regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Lead cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvements initiatives.

Determine appropriate staffing levels according to capacity and work load.

Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements:

Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.

Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, including budgeting.

Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, statistics, and their applications.

Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware/software.

Knowledge of principles and methods for landing costs.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. English required.

Bachelor Degree in Business Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.

Proven experience in Supply Chain Management. 15 years’ experience in Materials related role.

Annual Salary Range for this role is $95,000 - $105,000 per year
