Creative Dining Services is hiring a Full Time Dish Room Lead
Join our Creative team at Union University in Jackson, TN.
The Dish Room Lead helps oversee the employees and operations of the dish room. This is a working position. The Dish Room Lead works as a partner with Dining Services, maintaining and sanitizing the kitchen work areas. Additionally, the Dish Room Lead will maintain restaurant equipment, utensils, dinnerware, and floors in a clean and orderly condition.
Expected to have reliable transportation and to work weekends as well as weekdays.
Core Responsibilities:
- Washes dishes, pots, pans, utensils and equipment to approved sanitation standards.
- Returns clean items back to their proper location.
- Sweeps, mops and performs general cleaning.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment preferred but not required.
- You are a team player and have excellent communication skills.
- You are detailed oriented.
