About Our Team
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our food service team as a General Food Service Worker. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages in a variety of settings.
Core Responsibilities
- Set up food service facilities, equipment, and utensils according to specific area needs, ensuring proper food temperatures and preparation areas are ready for daily operations.
- Prepare or assist in the preparation of hot and cold meals and beverages, adhering to instructions and quality standards.
- Serve food items to campers from counters and steam tables, following specific guidelines to ensure accurate portion sizes.
- Replenish foods, silverware, glassware, dishes, and trays at serving stations as needed, ordering condiments when necessary.
- Clean and maintain work areas, including floors, facilities, dishes, utensils, and equipment, collecting garbage and trash in designated containers.
- Wash pots, pans, and serviceware, organizing and replacing them to their appropriate locations.
Requirements
- Must be at least 14 years of age or older.
- Possess basic reading and math skills.
- Ability to communicate and understand primary language(s) used by guests who visit our location.
