What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front of House/Catering Assistant Part Time position at Creative Dining Services?
Creative Dining Services at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa is looking for a part time FOH/Catering Assistant team member. The FOH/Catering Assistant team member, works with the Front of House/Catering Manager to ensure that a welcoming, clean, sanitized dining room is provided for our guests. Works cooperatively as a valued member of the dining/catering services team, assisting with any aspect of the dining services program necessary.
Core Responsibilities:
- Sets up, serves and cleans up dining room as directed.
- Interacts with guests and customers at events with professionalism, service and grace, upholding the customer service expectations of CDS and the client/account.
- Ensures all dishes, utensils, and other equipment from the storeroom are clean and properly returned to their correct place. Ensures proper lock-up procedures are followed and enforced.
- Provides customer feedback to Front of House/Catering Manager as it is received, including both positive and negative remarks.
- Assists Front of House/Catering Manager as directed to ensure front of house is well stocked, clean and customer friendly. Reports to FOH/Catering Manager as needed for catering needs.
- Completes additional tasks requested by the Front of House/Catering Manager.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1 year minimum experience with food service and catering preferred.
