Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Marketing Specialist responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns across various channels. This role requires a highly creative and results-oriented individual with a strong understanding of digital marketing best practices. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication, project management, formatting, social media management, and problem-solving skills.
We value new ideas and the ability to translate ideas and strategies into proposals and other marketing materials. Our corporate marketing team members support each other to balance workloads, share ideas, and collaborate on projects. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management
- Lead and manage the execution of marketing campaigns and promotions
- Develop and maintain project timelines, track progress, and identify roadblocks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment
Proposal Writing and Design
- Craft compelling copy for sales proposal documents with tailored marketing strategies
- Work with stakeholders to understand bid requirements and strategic objectives
- Maintain best practice editing and formatting
- Create easily understandable, compelling designed pages and infographics to illustrate the proposal content
Social Media Management
- Develop and execute social media strategies across various platforms (FB, LI, Insta)
- Create engaging, high-quality social media content, including text, images, and video
- Monitor social media channels and analyze social media performance
- Manage social media advertising campaigns
Graphic Design/Photography
- Design visually appealing marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, presentations, and social media graphics
- Maintain brand guidelines and ensure consistency across marketing materials
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
- Capture high-quality product and lifestyle photography for use in marketing materials
Team Lead
- Marketing lead for the College and University category
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment
- Effectively communicate marketing strategies and results to stakeholders
- Stay abreast of the latest marketing trends, technologies, and best practices
- Explore new marketing opportunities and recommend innovative solutions
Required Skills
- 5 years of experience in a marketing communications role
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
- Proven design, formatting, and editing skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in project management, social media management, and content creation
- Basic photography and videography skills
- Knowledge of food service industry a plus
- Experience in college and university marketing a plus
- Sales experience a plus
