Sous Chef-Catering
$19.00-$21.00 per hour
We are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Catering Chef to join our team. This role requires someone with a passion for food, strong organizational skills, and the ability to execute multiple events simultaneously while maintaining quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and serve all food for catering events.
- Manage prep and execution for multiple events at a time, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Place and manage food orders, monitor inventory, and minimize waste.
- Maintain an organized and efficient workspace to ensure smooth event execution.
- Assist in menu planning and adapt recipes as needed.
- Utilize a broad range of cooking techniques to execute diverse menus.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Work independently and take initiative in problem-solving.
- Flex into other kitchen stations as needed during non-event times to support overall kitchen operations.
Requirements:
- Open availability Monday through Friday.
- Strong time management and ability to work under pressure.
- Experience in catering or high-volume cooking preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods.
