What are the responsibilities and job description for the Catering Event Producer position at Creative Edge Parties?
Summary: The Event Producer is responsible for both the administrative support of an Event Director or as directed Event Directors and for the production of high-profile Corporate, Not for Profit and Private Social Events. This position is suited for an individual highly organized, self-motivated, and self-managed. A passion for food, beverage and perfectly executed events is a must.
Essential Functions:
Possess high level administrative skills, computer fluency and the ability to self-train on the same.
The ability to manage client budget and internal budget to make certain client expectations are met and exceed.
Develop expert computer skills in FileMaker, Power Point, and all other required computer software.
Effectively communicate across all departments in CEP Field Guides, by way of email and in strong written and verbal communication to ensure event success.
Oversee all aspects of events including setup and teardown.
Participate in all departmental and interdepartmental meetings
Attend networking events as directed
Maintain competitive set analysis.
Attend site inspections as required
Compliance with all internal processes for travel, purchasing, purchase orders etc.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Strong oral and written communication skills
Willingness to occasional travel
Attention to detail
Efficient multi-task capabilities
Able to work flexible, sometimes long hours and holidays
Strong Planning and Organizational ability
Excellent Customer Service Skills

· Education/Experience: College Degree or equivalent. Minimum of two years experience in event production.

Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
