Summary of Position:
Creative Energies is hiring a Technical Solar Sales Representative to expand our services in the Cheyenne market. You’ll drive solar adoption by providing tailored energy solutions and managing the full sales cycle, from consultations to securing contracts. We’re seeking someone with solar PV expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for renewable energy.
Duties:
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and manage assigned leads effectively.
- Follow up regularly with potential customers to address questions, provide additional information, and support their decision-making process.
- Conduct site visits and virtual consultations with prospective customers to plan systems and create preliminary solar designs.
- Develop and present system proposals, including cost estimates, tailored to customer needs.
- Educate homeowners on the benefits of solar energy, such as cost savings, environmental impact, and energy independence.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales process.
- Meet individual sales targets, contributing to the team's overall success and growth.
- Stay updated on solar products, industry trends, and competitive offerings through ongoing training and professional development.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and other collaborative efforts.
- Drive results by fostering customer trust and promoting solar adoption.
- Clearly explain and review sales contracts and agreements with customers.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business goals.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, with a drive to achieve targets and deliver results
- Willingness to work in the field and engage directly with customers
- Prior inside sales or solar experience
- Technical background or aptitude in solar PV design
- A passion for renewable energy and helping others
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Education/Training:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- NABCEP PV Technical Sales a plus
Travel and Work schedule:
The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Occasional travel may be required between our Salt Lake and/or Lander offices for team training and meetings. Travel will also include driving to project locations within your area for site visits. This position is remote, so a dedicated home office with a reliable internet connection is necessary.
