Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Geologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising drilling projects throughout the State, logging boreholes, installing monitor wells, and collecting soil and groundwater samples per FDEP Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise drilling projects throughout the State.
- Log boreholes.
- Install monitor wells.
- Collect soil and groundwater samples per FDEP SOPs.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS or higher in Geology.
- One year plus experience installing monitor wells and sampling soil and rock using Direct Push Technology (DPT), hollow stem augers, and/or sonic drilling methods.
