About The Company And The Accountant Position

Responsibilities Of The Accountant

• Performs complex, detailed reconciliations of operating and payroll bank accounts to the general ledger
• Performs other general ledger reconciliations as needed in support of monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Calculates and initiates corresponding journal entries
• Maintains Excel spreadsheets for audit support / inquiries
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Preferred Qualifications Of The Accountant

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 1 to 3 years accounting experience
• Knowledge of GAAP
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents
• Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills
• Maintains confidentiality
• Experience identifying, collecting and organizing data for decision making
• Proficient in relevant software such as Excel
  
  

Salary And Benefits

• In-office (Wooster, Ohio)
• Pay range is $60,000 to $65,000
