- Preparation and presentation of monthly and annual financial statements adhering to U.S. GAAP standards.
- Prepare supporting docs for the annual financial statement review.
- Record General Ledger transactions related to cash, AP, AR, payroll, prepaids, accrued liabilities, intercompany receivables/payables, and debt.
- Perform timely reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts.
- The Accounting Manager will process sales tax returns across multiple states.
- Maintain fixed asset schedules.
- Manage vendor payment entry & processing.
- Post and reconcile cash and credit card transactions promptly, ensuring proper General Ledger coding.
- Prepare, enhance, and automate various reports.
- Assist with various Accounts Receivable reporting and deliverables.
- Manage the AP function after a transition period, including reviewing vendor invoices for proper coding and allocation by GL account, site, and line of business, and implementing process improvements.
- 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in distribution or manufacturing
- Experience with sales/service or parts sales
- Software conversion experience a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
