Strictly Onsite - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Salary: $100,000 - $110,000

Description

The Applications Developer supports and maintains custom business applications using C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, SSRS, Power BI Paginated Reports, DevExpress Controls, and the .NET Framework. Additional knowledge of Crystal Reports, .NET Core, and JavaScript is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop custom applications and websites.
• Ensure source code is properly documented and stored in the source-safe library.
• Maintain integrations between custom apps and business software (RIMAS, MFG, AccPac).
• Support and develop data integrations (including EDI) with customers/vendors.
• Design user-friendly, accurate, and timely custom developments.
• Develop, code, test, debug, and document applications/websites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing applications.
• Address Level 3 help desk tickets related to custom applications.
• Ensure web application security.
• Communicate reporting changes and updates to management.
• Conduct in-depth testing and post-implementation support.
  
  

Requirements

• College degree in computer science or related field.
• 3 years of experience in .NET WinForms/Web, C#, T-SQL, ASP.NET.
• Familiarity with reporting tools like SQL Reports, MS Power BI, and Crystal Reports.
• Experience developing and implementing interactive websites.
• Knowledge of MS SQL database development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to present technical concepts in business-friendly terms.
