Job Summary
The Assistant Controller will support the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy in reporting, compliance with financial regulations, and assisting in strategic financial planning. This role will work closely with leadership and other key stakeholders to enhance financial processes and drive efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and budget forecasts.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other financial regulations.
- Analyze financial data and trends to support decision-making.
- Assist with audits and tax filings, providing necessary documentation.
- Maintain and improve internal financial controls and procedures.
- Collaborate with various departments to optimize financial processes.
- Participate in cost analysis and budgeting initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA, CMA, or other relevant certification preferred.
- 3 years of experience in accounting or financial management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
