- The Position: Lead a corporate accounting and financial reporting team that will be responsible for accounting policy, corporate accounting, technical accounting, and (SEC) reporting activities
- Manage external reporting efforts to the SEC, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K
- Direct the corporate accounting and financial reporting team
- Drive process improvement in the accounting close and reporting processes
- Drive application of both new and existing accounting standards
- Central point of contact with external and internal auditors
- Subject matter expert on interpretation and implementation of all current, new and evolving U.S. GAAP accounting issues
- Assist management in other corporate areas such as investor relations, treasury, acquisition due diligence and purchase accounting
- Develop and mentor staff
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics required
- CPA preferred
- Minimum 10 years combined accounting experience in a global company and a public accounting firm
- Experience leading the preparation of Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting
- Experience working with a global ERP system
- Experience working for a large, multinational, publicly traded company
