As an Azure Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the organization’s cloud-based infrastructure, specifically within the Azure environment. This role involves automating processes, ensuring system security and performance, and collaborating with teams to drive continuous improvements in cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain critical Azure services including Azure Virtual Desktops, Active Directory, Intune, and Autopilot.
- Continuously monitor system performance, resolve performance bottlenecks, and ensure the security and availability of the environment.
- Implement CI/CD processes, deploy code to production, and automate routine tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
- Diagnose and resolve advanced system issues to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Work with internal IT teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize system solutions.
- Maintain and update comprehensive project and technical documentation, including system configurations and troubleshooting guides.
- Stay informed of new technologies and trends to recommend system performance and security enhancements.
- Azure Expertise: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktops, Active Directory, Intune, and Autopilot.
- DevOps Experience: Proficient with DevOps practices, CI/CD tools, and automation.
- Cloud Security: Strong background in cloud security and performance monitoring.
- Windows Server & Security Tools: Proficiency with Windows Server 2022, Windows 11, and security tools such as Defender and Purview.
- Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex system issues efficiently.
- Collaboration: Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience:
- 5 years of experience in Microsoft 365 and Azure administration.
- Hands-on experience with InTune, Autopilot, CI/CD, and other DevOps technologies.
- Strong background in cloud security and Windows Server environments.
