A higher education institution is seeking a strategic and results-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee its financial operations, ensuring fiscal integrity and long-term sustainability. Reporting directly to the President and serving as a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, accounting, grants, fundraising, and administrative services.

- Develop and oversee the institution’s financial strategy, multi-year forecasts, and accounting practices to align with its mission and strategic plan.
- Manage the operating and capital budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and financial sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, state and federal regulations, and institutional financial policies.
- Provide financial reporting and analysis to support executive decision-making, advising the President, Board of Trustees, and other key stakeholders on fiscal strategies.
- Oversee grant administration, fundraising financials, payroll, and administrative functions.
- Identify and address financial risks, opportunities, and challenges while implementing innovative revenue-generating strategies.
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in financial management, budgeting, and planning, preferably within higher education or public institutions.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal financial regulations affecting educational institutions.
- Proven ability to develop and implement financial controls while supporting innovation and strategic initiatives.
- Demonstrated leadership in fostering collaboration and managing diverse teams.
Salary : $140,000 - $155,000
