Responsibilities Of The Collections Manager
- Lead and support the accounting team in various financial processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and finance
- Oversee the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry regulations
- Work directly with attorneys and clients to ensure timely collections of outstanding receivables
- Collaborate with senior management to implement and refine financial processes that enhance operational efficiency and control
- Develop and maintain internal accounting policies and procedures to ensure best practices are followed
- Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior team members to foster professional development and improve performance
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 4 years of accounting experience, preferably within a professional services firm
- Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Location: Downtown Cleveland
- Pay range: $75,000 - $90,000 per year based on experience
