The Controller will oversee all financial activities and accounting functions, along with the fractional CFO, within the organization. This individual will be responsible for managing the organization’s financial reporting, budgeting, audits, and ensuring compliance with nonprofit accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile banking and balance sheet accounts, ensuring integrity of all financial data.
- Monitor month end close and prepare monthly financial reports for management and board. Support decision making based on financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly journal entries for payroll, cost allocations, restricted fund balances
- Ensure financial processes are timely and correct, including but not limited to payroll, tax filings, debt schedule, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Provide leadership to a small staff
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field a
