Job Title: Controller – Cost & Manufacturing

Job Summary: The Controller will oversee the financial operations within the manufacturing department, ensuring accurate cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis. This role involves working closely with operations teams to monitor and optimize cost structures, identify inefficiencies, and implement strategies to improve profitability. The Controller will be responsible for reporting on manufacturing costs, inventory management, and financial forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cost accounting processes, including the tracking and analysis of raw materials, labor, and overhead costs.
• Develop and maintain accurate cost models for manufacturing processes.
• Monitor inventory levels, cost variances, and production efficiencies.
• Prepare monthly financial reports on manufacturing performance, highlighting key cost drivers and variances.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and long-term financial plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cost-saving initiatives and improve profitability.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on manufacturing or cost accounting.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
