Key Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and coordinate all accounting functions.
- Manage the consolidation of financial data for accurate business reporting.
- Prepare internal and external financial statements.
- Provide financial insights to support executive decision-making.
- Oversee the budgeting process and financial planning.
- Assess and enhance current accounting operations and internal controls.
- Evaluate accounting software and database effectiveness.
- Develop and monitor key business performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Hire, train, and manage accounting staff.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- Minimum of 6 years of combined accounting and finance experience.
- CPA certification is a plus but not required.
- Experience leading and managing accounting teams.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
