What will you be doing in this role? Here's an overview:
📊 Financial Reporting: Prepare a quarterly guarantor compliance reporting package for the company's loans based on the lender's requirements. Ensure compliance with loan covenants and act as the point of contact for financial questions from lenders.
🔗 Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as legal, accounting, and asset management to obtain information for compiling the reporting package. You'll gain exposure to various aspects of the business and build valuable relationships.
💻 Software Management: Update the investment management software with distributions, capital calls, and new assets. Keep the system up-to-date and accurate, ensuring smooth operations.
🔍 Reconciliation Expert: Prepare monthly investor contribution/distribution reconciliations between the general ledger and investment management software. Resolve any variances and discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
📈 Process Improvements: Collaborate with the Finance Manager on process improvements and special analysis projects. Your insights and fresh perspective will be valued as we strive for continuous improvement.
What qualifications do we look for in an Entry Level Accountant? Here's what we prefer:
🎓 Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a degree with at least 12 hours in accounting. Show us your passion for numbers and attention to detail!
