- Lead the annual audit, coordinate with auditors, and prepare necessary documents.
- Oversee general ledger accounting, ensuring timely and accurate financial reports.
- Manage the preparation of monthly budget-to-actual reports and annual financial statements.
- Assist with financial reports and presentations for management and trustees.
- Oversee treasury activities, including cash projections and risk management.
- Mentor and manage a small team of accountants.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting (Master’s preferred).
- At least 5 years of accounting experience, with extensive knowledge in tax and financial accounting.
- CPA license required.
- Minimum of 3 years in a management role.
- Experience in the nonprofit or philanthropic sector, with grants experience preferred.
