Responsibilities
- Prepare and review general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP).
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met and financial data is accurate.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations for general ledger accounts.
- Maintain fixed asset records and ensure proper depreciation schedules are followed.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and provide support for budget preparation and forecasting.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting issues and ensure financial accuracy across the organization.
- 2-4 years of experience in general ledger accounting or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP).
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
