Key Responsibilities

- Execute month-end and year-end financial close processes in compliance with US GAAP, Canadian GAAP, and IFRS
- Prepare monthly journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet account reconciliations
- Record bi-weekly payroll and associated accrual entries
- Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements per Group reporting requirements
- Support external audit and tax return preparation
- Assist with HST/GST, Sales & Use Tax, and Fuel Tax filings
- Perform additional accounting duties as assigned

- 3 years accounting experience in manufacturing, preferably biofuel or oil & gas industry
- Bachelor's in accounting
- Comprehensive understanding of:
- General ledger accounting in production environments
- Production cost accounting
- Inventory management
- Cost of Goods Sold
- Asset capitalization
- Revenue recognition
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- ERP systems experience, particularly Microsoft GP
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication abilities
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
