As the Human Resources Manager, you will:
- Collaborate with leadership to implement the organization’s HR and talent strategies, addressing current and future workforce needs, recruitment, and retention.
- Provide guidance on complex HR issues, including investigations, allegations of misconduct, and terminations.
- Lead the talent acquisition process, including recruiting, interviewing, and hiring for managerial, exempt, and professional positions. Work with department heads to identify required skills and competencies.
- Analyze compensation and benefits trends, recommending competitive pay and incentive programs to attract and retain top talent.
- Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Review and update policies to align with best practices.
- Stay informed on HR trends, employment laws, and emerging talent management technologies.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the HR function.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Experience: 5-7 years in a Human Resources Manager position.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong ability to view the "big picture" and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Tools: Familiarity with ADP is a plus.
- Industry: Experience in the manufacturing sector is highly preferred.
