Samuel Strapping Systems is a subsidiary of Samuel Manu-Tech ($1 billion Canadian Parent), and manufactures and supplies a broad range of stainless steel and plastic strapping for packaging and unitizing systems; it is the largest manufacturer of stainless steel in North America. 450 employees in US, 3 other manufacturing sites 2 in North Carolina, one in Columbus, OH. They have developed a new role for an Inventory Accountant to manage inventory at Woodridge as well as Columbus and North Carolina sites.

10% Sales Tax Responsibilities
20% ME Close Responsibilities
80% Inventory Management, audit, reconciliation for 3 remote sites
BS in Accounting, CPA a plus
Minimum 3 Years Experience
Excellent communication skills – this person will work cross-functionally and will work with sales staff
Self-confidence – to question, challenge and set systems up on their own
Must have demonstrated early achievement or success in some fashion
Inventory experience with multiple sites
ME close experience and knowledge of technical accounting
