About The Role

This newly created Inventory Analyst position is an exciting opportunity to join a small manufacturing company experiencing growth. You will take ownership of the inventory accounting process, help clean up and organize existing inventory systems, and work collaboratively to implement improved processes. This is a chance to make a tangible impact by enhancing operational efficiency and contributing to the company's growth! There is also the potential to grow this role into a Cost Accountant in the future!

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and improve the current inventory accounting processes.
• Develop and implement guidelines and controls for inventory reconciliation and management.
• Collaborate with the inventory operations team to perform reconciliations and monthly counts.
• Conduct cost analysis and assist with organizing and streamlining inventory data.
• Support accounts payable by setting up wire transfers during the prepayment period for suppliers in China and Taiwan.
  
  

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of inventory accounting experience within a small manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated success in cleaning up inventory systems and creating processes for accounting accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including V-lookups and pivot tables.
• Familiarity with Sage, QuickBooks is a plus.
