Responsibilities
- Private and Public Equity Analysis
- Analyze new and existing private equity investments, focusing on real estate, oil and gas, and technology sectors.
- Develop/review financial models for prospective real estate investments.
- Review and compare budgets for existing oil and gas platforms.
- Analyze new and existing public equity investments, including individual stocks and fund managers.
- Research fund performance and maintain a watchlist of targets.
- Lead quarterly reviews of top fund managers' holdings.
- Portfolio Management and Reporting
- Collaborate with accounting team onboarding new investments and processing capital calls/distributions.
- Document all transactions in Portfolio Model and ensure alignment with accounting systems.
- Manage documentation for new investments
- Maintain and improve portfolio model for comprehensive view of investments.
- Support generation of monthly reports for Investment Committee.
- Relationship Management
- Liaise with investment partners to monitor investment status.
- Special Projects
- Support initiatives like AI integration, global industry trend analysis, and philanthropic efforts.
- Financial Analysis: Strong ability to interpret financial statements and develop financial models.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Data Visualization: Proficiency in summarizing data for effective stakeholder communication.
- Confidentiality: Understanding of discretion required in family office environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel, PowerPoint; familiarity with SharePoint. Experience with data platforms like Pitchbook, and AI integration is a plus.
- Sector Knowledge: Experience in energy and real estate preferred.
