Our construction client is looking for a Lead Accounting Professional to join their team. This Lead Accountant will support all regulatory and financial reporting processes, specifically, report preparation in accordance with GAAP or regulatory guidelines. This will include account analysis and reconciliation, fixed asset, prepaids and regulated accounting, and supporting the annual budget process.

Responsibilities For This Lead Accountant Role Include

• Month End Responsibilities
• Manage Accounting Associates
• Assist with Strategic Projects
• Prepaid entries and G/L Account Reconciliation

Experience Preferred For Lead Accountant Role

We are looking for a Lead Accountant with a solid work ethic, excellent judgment, and a desire to build a long-term career with us. You should be highly organized and detail-oriented, with outstanding analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you are able to work effectively with minimal oversight, while also functioning well in a team environment for this Lead Accountant opportunity.

• Bachelor's Degree Preferred but NOT required
• 2-4 Years of Accounting Experience
• Attention to detail
• Lead Accountant Needs Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Corporate accounting / General ledger experience
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including intermediate to expert Excel skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with minimal direction
