- This position is dynamic overseeing projects that range in the types of projects and the size while overseeing a small team.
- This person will work closely with the Director and the other Project Accounting Manager as well as many other leaders throughout the company.

- Responsible for the accounting for and proper recognition of revenue and gross profit for the company.
- Monitor and analyze project-related profits and KPI’s for the company.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Project Accountants, ensuring they meet project accounting objectives and deadlines.
- Implement and monitor internal controls and procedures to ensure accuracy in cost management, reporting, and project-level accounting transactions.
- Audit accounts to ensure compliance with company policies and state and federal regulations; coordinates with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit.
- Other duties and projects assigned by executive management.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field. CPA is preferred.
- At least 5 years of construction accounting experience or other relevant experience required, with at least 2 years in an accounting management position.
- Knowledge of contract accounting and revenue recognition principles in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles in the U.S.
- Experience working with accounting software and databases. Strong overall computer skills, particularly with MS Excel and construction accounting software.
- Ability to travel overnight as required by business needs about 20%.
Salary : $125,000 - $155,000
