Key Responsibilities For The Property Accountant
- Prepare and maintain financial statements for multiple properties, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts related to property operations.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process for assigned properties.
- Monitor and report on property performance, providing insights to management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Collaborate with property managers to support operational and financial decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property management.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
