Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the reimbursement accounting team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the reimbursement process.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of reimbursement claims, ensuring compliance with government regulations and company policies.
- Monitor and track outstanding reimbursements and resolve any discrepancies or issues with payers.
- Maintain and update reimbursement accounting policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare detailed financial reports related to reimbursements and cost accounting for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with various departments such as billing, finance, and legal to resolve reimbursement-related issues.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation related to reimbursement processes.
- Implement process improvements to streamline reimbursement accounting workflows.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in reimbursement accounting or a similar financial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reimbursement regulations, and financial reporting.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel advanced skills preferred).
- Experience in healthcare reimbursement or insurance accounting is a plus.
Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
