Responsibilities Of The Senior Accountant Role
Our client is a private equity investment firm that is one of the largest, most experienced and respected fund sponsors focused on the lower middle market segment of the market. Excellent environment for an independent worker who values flexibility and work life balance.
Responsibilities Of The Senior Accountant Role
- Manage and monitor overall budget
- Create financial reports for the president and the board
- Ensure AP, AR and cash managing are in place
- Work on monthly financial close
- Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
- Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
- Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
- 3-5 years in senior accountant or similar role preferred
- CPA eligible or certified preferred
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
- Detail oriented
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Salary range is $70,000-$80,000
- Located in the Barberton area
- This role is an in office position
