- Preparing journal entries for month-end close, including recurring entries, prepaids, and accruals.
- Analyzing financial information and compiling reports for the monthly financial package.
- Creating allocation journal entries for accurate cost accounting.
- Reviewing and preparing monthly financial statements for affiliated companies.
- Conducting ongoing P&L reviews to support the monthly close process.
- Performing monthly bank and balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Maintaining accurate fixed asset records.
- Preparing annual audit schedules and supporting external auditors.
- Providing ad-hoc financial support as a valuable internal resource.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (experience with filters, pivot tables, VLOOKUP). Familiarity with SAGE500 is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively.
